Accounts Assistant

An established and growing commercial property management and investment firm based in Central London is looking for a capable Accounts Assistant to support its busy finance department. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in property accounts who is looking to deepen their experience in a professional and fast-paced environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the financial operations of a diverse commercial property portfolio. You'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial transactions, working closely with property managers, clients, and external partners. Experience with property-specific accounting software especially MRI Qube is a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the day-to-day accounting for a portfolio of commercial properties
• Process invoices, payments, and bank reconciliations
• Maintain accurate records of income and expenditure
• Support in the preparation of service charge accounts and client reporting
• Liaise with property managers and external stakeholders regarding financial queries
• Assist in month-end and year-end reporting
• Ad-hoc financial administration and support as required

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in an accounts role within the real estate or property industry
• Strong understanding of property accounting processes
• Experience using MRI Qube software is highly desirable
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team-oriented approach
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general accounting systems

Salary & Benefits:

• £30,000 £35,000 depending on experience
