Sales and Business Development Assistant

Location: Glasgow, South Side (G46)
Salary: Up to 30,000 basic salary, depending on experience + bonus
Working Pattern: Full-time or part-time Office-based with flexible hours

First Achieve are working with a growing business based in the south side of Glasgow, who are looking to appoint an experienced and motivated Appointment Generator to support their continued expansion.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional with experience in appointment setting, lead generation or business development to join a growing organisation with genuine opportunities for career progression.

The successful candidate will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, engaging with prospective clients and generating qualified appointments for the senior management team.

• Identify and research prospective clients, market trends and new business opportunities.

• Conduct outbound prospecting through telephone, email and LinkedIn.

• Engage with business owners and senior decision-makers to understand their requirements.

• Follow up on leads and generate qualified appointments for senior management.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM and prospect records.

• Work closely with management to develop and implement effective sales strategies.

• Monitor sales activity and provide regular updates and performance reports.

• Ensure qualified opportunities are effectively handed over to the senior team.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in appointment setting, telesales, lead generation or business development, together with a confident and professional approach.

You will ideally have:

• Proven experience generating appointments or leads within a B2B environment.

• A confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills.

• The ability to engage effectively with business owners and senior decision-makers.

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple follow-ups.

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

• A motivated, proactive approach and a genuine desire to develop a career in sales.

• Up to 30,000 basic salary, depending on experience.
