Tax Assistant Manager

Role: Tax Assistant Manager
Salary: 55,000 - 60,000
Location: Central London
Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours with hybrid work available after completion of
probation

Our client, a leading firm in the city, is seeking to appoint a Tax Assistant Manager to its existing team.

Duties for the Tax Assistant Manager:

-manage a portfolio of tax clients across both personal and corporate compliance

-review tax returns, computations and supporting work by junior team members

-support tax advisory and planning assignments

-point of contact for clients

-identify tax planning opportunities

-support the tax manager and director

-coach and support junior colleagues

-oversee the monitoring of compliance deadlines

-oversee in house tax training

Experience for the Tax Assistant Manager:

-CTA or ATT qualified

-5 years experience within a tax role

-experience with the submission and preparation of self-assessment, corporation tax, CGT, ATED, P11D's and securities returns

-strong communication skills

-strong technical knowledge of personal and corporate tax
