| Description: | A well-established accountancy practice is looking for an experienced Audit Manager, or an ambitious Assistant Manager ready to take the next step, to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of clients and lead a growing audit team. This is a hands-off management position, giving you the opportunity to focus on planning, reviewing and delivering high-quality audits while developing the people around you. You will work closely with clients and Partners, with the autonomy to manage your portfolio and play an important role in the continued development of the team. Job Title: Audit Manager Job Type: Perm Location: Weybridge Salary: £60 000 Reference no: 16147 Audit Manager About The Role The role will focus on managing the audit process and leading the team, with responsibility for ensuring assignments are delivered efficiently, within budget and to a high standard. You will oversee audits from initial planning through to completion, review and sign off audit files, and act as the main point of contact for clients. You will also play an important role in developing the wider audit team, providing guidance and training to junior staff while working closely with Partners on more complex assignments.
