Management Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Management Accountant on a temporary to permanent basis to join a busy finance team and provide immediate support during an exciting period of change.

This is a hands on role where you will work closely with the Financial Controller, taking responsibility for key elements of the day-to-day finance function while also supporting management reporting, forecasting and year-end activities.

You will need to be someone who can hit the ground running, work independently and confidently take ownership from day one.

Main Duties:

Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs

Supporting the consolidation of multiple entities

Managing and monitoring daily cash flow

Preparing forecasts and supporting budget reviews

Analysing financial performance and investigating variances

Providing meaningful financial analysis and commentary to management

Supporting P&L, balance sheet and cash flow reporting

Reviewing monthly performance with budget holders

Assisting with year-end accounts and external audit

Supporting the finance team through a finance systems transition

Identifying opportunities to improve processes and reporting

Providing ad hoc financial analysis and modelling as required
