The purpose of role is to manage all regulatory reporting and regulatory compliance. This includes scanning for PRA/ FCA/ Bank of England changes and completing and reviewing returns and liaising with regulators.
Key duties and responsibilities:
Keep up to date with all regulatory changes and how they impact existing returns
Lead Basel 3.1 transition project and provide required training.
Lead Form PL implementation project (reporting w.e.f. 31/12/27)
Drive automation of regulatory returns from source systems
Work in partnership with senior managers across the Bank to update ICAAP, ILAAP, and RRP
Attendance at Asset and Liability Committee and Risk Management Committee
Monitor the capital and liquidity position and assess impact of asset growth and changes in liquidity profile
Oversee and review weekly ILG, LCR, and NSFR forecasts and present results at funding meetings
Update ICAAP, ILAAP, and RRP
Lead the Bank of England, PRA, and FCA regulatory reporting, specifically the following returns: Own Funds, ALMM, MLAR, FINREP, LE, PRA110, FSA17, NSFR, LV001, PSD001 and PSD007
Assist with Group reporting, the production of the annual Statutory Accounts and Financial Statements
Production of Pillar 3 schedules and oversight of BBSI reporting
Work in partnership with other Finance team members and provide direction and review output on all regulatory work
Work with the Senior Financial Modelling Analyst to automate returns, provide regulatory guidance, and build/ improve stress testing models
Build solid working relationships with staff at all levels across the Bank and provide support as required
Supervision of Regulatory and Management Accountant
To provide regulatory input to any process or product development across the Bank to ensure appropriate process design, implementation and execution
Ensure compliance with the statutory regulatory framework
Verify that accounting, recording and information storage and retrieval procedures are adhered to
Skills/Experience
University graduate and/or Hold a Professional Accounting Qualification
Strong track record of regulatory reporting in a UK Bank
Experience of Modelling, Financial Analysis, and Financial Reporting with a primary focus on regulatory elements
History of studying and interpreting regulatory guidance
In depth knowledge of PRA, FCA, and Bank of England regulatory requirements
Comprehensive practical understanding of requirements for capital and liquidity planning
Proven working knowledge of all regulatory reporting, ICAAP, ILAAP, and RRP documents
