My client is looking for a hands on Purchase Ledger expert that can lead a team and manage the operational day to day in AP. This is an exciting opportunity for a Accounts Payable Team Leader, Purchase Ledger Team Leader or Senior Accounts Payable, who is excited people leadership and being involved across all processes in the Accounts Payable function. Description

• Manage and lead the accounts payable team, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Oversee invoice processing, payment runs, and supplier reconciliations.
• Implement and maintain controls to ensure compliance with financial policies.
• Collaborate with other departments to resolve invoice or payment queries.
• Prepare reports and analysis on accounts payable activities for management.
• Support process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.
• Ensure supplier relationships are managed effectively.

Profile

A successful AP Team Leader should have:

• Experience in a similar Senior Accounts Payable, or Purchase Ledger Team Leader role.
• Proven ability to lead a team effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
• Good communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.

Job Offer

• Salary ranging from 37,000 - 40,000
• Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days at home - after training
