Business Services Manager

An established firm of Chartered Accountants in Worthing is seeking an experienced Business Services Manager to join their growing team, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. The successful Business Services Manager will take ownership of a varied portfolio of clients, managing accounts and compliance work from start to finish while mentoring junior members of the team. You will act as a trusted point of contact for clients, providing commercial advice and helping to develop the wider business services function within the firm.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a diverse portfolio of clients, overseeing accounts preparation and compliance work
• Review the work of junior staff, providing guidance, feedback, and support
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering proactive commercial advice
• Support the development and growth of the business services team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified, with proven experience at Manager level
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong technical accounting and compliance knowledge
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
