A leading accountancy and advisory firm is looking for a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join its growing team.

You will manage a varied portfolio of private clients, review complex tax returns and support the delivery of high-quality tax planning and compliance work. Alongside your technical responsibilities, you will help develop junior colleagues, build strong client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you will

• Manage a portfolio of private clients with varied and complex tax requirements

• Review personal tax returns, tax packs and client correspondence

• Support workflow planning, billing and the monitoring of work in progress

• Delegate work to junior team members, providing guidance and constructive feedback

• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge through research, training and departmental initiatives

Requirements:

As a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager, you will need

• An accountancy or tax qualification such as ATT or CTA

• Experience preparing and reviewing personal tax returns

• The confidence to manage client relationships and respond to technical queries

• Experience supporting, reviewing or developing junior colleagues
