Accounts Manager

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Manager to join their growing team, offering the opportunity to manage a varied portfolio of clients, provide high-quality advisory support and play a key role in the continued growth of the department.

Responsibilities:
As an Accounts Manager, you will

• Oversee a diverse client portfolio, building strong relationships and delivering a high-quality service while identifying opportunities to support wider business growth.
• Provide clients with accounts preparation, financial reporting and advisory support, working closely with them throughout the audit process.
• Use your technical expertise to ensure compliance with relevant financial reporting standards, including IFRS, FRS 102 and FRS 101.
• Monitor and manage project finances, taking ownership of budgets, costs, billing and the timely recovery of outstanding fees.
• Lead, support and develop junior team members through effective supervision, coaching and regular performance and development reviews.

Requirements:
As an Accounts Manager, you will need

• ACA or ACCA qualification, with at least three years' post-qualified experience
• Proven experience managing a portfolio of clients and supervising or coaching junior team members.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK financial reporting requirements, including IFRS, FRS 102 and Companies Act reporting.
