Commercial Analyst

We are hiring a Commercial Analyst to join a fast-paced, global advertising agency with a close-knit, collaborative team.

The Role

You'll take ownership of key commercial tasks and work closely with senior commercial accountants to keep revenue reporting data accurate, consistent and up to date. You will support a key client portfolio and help ensure the smooth running of commercial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee global billing transactions, PO issuance and ensure alignment with agreed scopes of work.
  • Manage network working capital balances, proactively resolving invoicing discrepancies and AR issues.
  • Coordinate with global markets and billing teams to maintain accurate WIP balances and timely reporting.
  • Support the global finance team in tracking revenue, fee analysis and managing historical balances.
  • Prepare and distribute client-specific financial reporting.
  • Maintain rate cards and mapping tables, facilitating cross-functional process alignment and training.

The Person

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a Global business or team.
  • Excellent Excel skills are essential (advanced formulas, data manipulation and reporting).
  • Experience in a similar agency or within Media/Marcomms is advantageous.
  • Detail-driven and organised, comfortable working with numbers and commercial data in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a commercial mindset; able to identify process improvements and resolve financial discrepancies efficiently.
  • Strong communicator who can work well with a close-knit team and influence wider stakeholders globally.
