Are you an experienced insolvency professional looking for more varied and interesting corporate casework?

We're recruiting an Insolvency Manager to join a well-established Liverpool team. You'll manage a varied portfolio of corporate insolvency cases from appointment through to closure, including assignments involving large owner-managed businesses and corporate clients.

With no bank-panel work, this is an opportunity to gain broader exposure, take greater ownership of your cases and continue developing within a supportive team.

The Role

As Insolvency Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases

  • Handling cases from initial appointment through to closure

  • Preparing statutory reports and case documentation

  • Liaising with company directors, creditors and professional advisers

  • Conducting investigations and ensuring statutory deadlines are met

  • Supporting senior colleagues with larger and more complex assignments

  • Reviewing work and supporting the development of junior team members

  • Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring regulatory compliance

What We're Looking For

You'll need:

  • Previous experience managing corporate insolvency cases

  • Strong knowledge of insolvency procedures and statutory requirements

  • Excellent organisation and case-management skills

  • Confidence communicating with directors, creditors and professional advisers

  • The ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines

  • CPI qualification, current CPI studies or an interest in beginning the qualification
