Senior Finance Business Partner (Contract Negotiation)

Salary: £80,000 - £85,000 + highly competitive leading bonus and benefits
Location: West London (3 days in office)

We're recruiting for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join a large, complex organisation where you'll provide commercial financial support across one of its largest cost bases, with a specific focus on contract negotiation.

Working closely with senior business leaders, external stakeholders and Finance, you'll play a key role in budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning, while supporting pay negotiations and workforce cost decisions through robust financial modelling and commercial insight.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight that supports strategic and operational decision-making.
• Work with the FP&A team to develop financial models to assess the impact of pay proposals, workforce initiatives and other employee cost decisions.
• Support pay negotiations by providing scenario analysis, affordability modelling and financial recommendations.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning.
• Identify financial risks and opportunities, driving cost optimisation and improved business performance.
• Prepare business cases and investment appraisals to support strategic decision-making.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, HR and operational teams to influence key business outcomes.

We're looking for a qualified finance professional who combines strong commercial acumen with excellent stakeholder management skills. You'll ideally have:

• ACA, CA, ACCA or CIMA qualification (or equivalent).
• Significant post-qualified experience within Finance Business Partnering or Commercial Finance.
• Proven experience taking part in large scale, highly complex contract negotiations is essential.
• Experience supporting large scale negotiations through financial modelling and commercial analysis.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning experience across large, complex organisations.
• Exposure to managing both CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
• A proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly.
• Experience operating within a fast-paced, matrix environment.
