Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Consultant

An opportunity has arisen for a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Consultant to join an independent mortgage and life insurance advisory firm providing whole-of-market advice across purchases and remortgages.

As a Mortgage Advisor / Mortgage Consultant, you will provide professional mortgage advice while managing client relationships and supporting their ongoing mortgage requirements.

This is an office based, permanent role offering a basic salary of £30,000 and OTE circa £60,000 - £70,000 plus benefits.

This is a relationship-focused role with no cold calling or individual sales targets, centred on providing quality mortgage advice and looking after clients.

You will be responsible for:

• Developing strong, lasting relationships with clients.
• Supporting existing clients with their ongoing mortgage requirements.
• Working collaboratively within a supportive team.
• Ensuring a positive client journey from initial contact through to completion

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Mortgage Advisor, Mortgage Adviser, Mortgage Consultant, Mortgage Specialist, Mortgage Broker or in a similar role.
• Approx. 1 year of whole-of-market mortgage experience.
• CeMAP or an equivalent mortgage advice qualification.
• A strong customer-focused approach with the ability to build lasting relationships.
