Your new role

Our client, a well-established independent firm in West London, is seeking an Accounts & Tax Manager to join their close-knit team and play a key role in supporting a diverse portfolio of owner-managed businesses.
Key Responsibilities

• This is a hands-on position offering a mix of accounts production, personal tax compliance and advisory work, together with responsibility for managing and developing client relationships.Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients
  • Reviewing year-end statutory accounts prepared by junior team members
  • Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns for directors and sole traders
  • Providing tax planning and advisory support to clients
  • Managing day-to-day client relationships and acting as the main point of contact
  • Supporting the Partners with business development opportunities
  • Supervising, mentoring and developing junior members of staff
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within deadlines

What you'll need to succeed

• ACA, ACCA and/or CTA qualified (or qualified by experience)
• Previous experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
• Strong knowledge of accounts preparation and personal tax
• Experience managing a client portfolio
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team
