Accounts Assistant

• Temporary Hybrid Position (3 months, potential extension)
• Location: London
• Salary: £18 per hour

Join our client's Homes Income Team within the Homes Division as an Accounts Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced finance professional with strong MRI Qube knowledge to support the accurate administration of tenant accounts and income transactions. You will play a crucial role in ensuring financial information is maintained to a high standard, contributing to the success of our trusted housing management services.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Process and accurately allocate receipts within MRI Qube.
• Complete bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies.
• Set up and maintain tenant accounts and tenancy information.
• Raise charges and ensure records are updated in line with tenancy agreements.
• Support month-end and periodic finance activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and account information.
• Respond to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist the team with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role.
• Strong working knowledge of MRI Qube.
• Excellent Excel skills.
• Experience posting receipts and carrying out bank reconciliations.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience within housing, property, or real estate would be advantageous.
