About the Role

An established and highly regarded Chartered Financial Planning and Wealth Management firm is looking for an experienced Client Manager to join its growing team.

This is a varied role combining paraplanning, financial planning support and client relationship management. You will work closely with Financial Planners while managing a portfolio of clients and helping to deliver tailored financial planning strategies.

The ideal candidate will enjoy both the technical and client-facing aspects of financial planning and be passionate about delivering an excellent client experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend client meetings and prepare accurate meeting notes.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
• Manage client queries and arrange review meetings.
• Support Financial Planners with financial strategies and recommendations.
• Conduct product and investment research.
• Prepare investment strategies, mandates and recommendation reports.
• Complete regular portfolio reviews and maintain accurate client records.
• Ensure recommendations are implemented accurately and within agreed timescales.
• Maintain knowledge of financial services, legislation and FCA requirements.
• Work in line with Consumer Duty and regulatory standards.

About You

• CII Level 4 Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent.
• Experience within Financial Planning, Wealth Management, Paraplanning or IFA.
• Strong technical and analytical skills.
• Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Professional, ethical and client-focused approach.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Experience with Voyant, O&M, Analytics, Papercloud and wrap platforms would be advantageous.
