Assistant Finance Manager

We are recruiting for a Part-Time Assistant Finance Manager to join a fast-paced business in Ipswich.

This role is working 30 hours a week, and you will be helping to oversee day-to-day finance operations as well as managing a small finance team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing monthly management accounts
• Handling budgeting and forecasting
• VAT returns
• Responsible for journals, reconciliations and month end reporting
• Conducting cashflow reviews
• Managing monthly payroll
• Sales invoicing and financial reporting
• Reviewing and improving finance processes and systems

Key skills:

• You will be ideally AAT Level 4, qualified by experience and have relevant work experience
• Experience with management accounts and ideally payroll
• Confident in managing a small team
• Experience liaising with external stakeholders
