Accounts Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a growing and successful business in Nottinghamshire.

You will be responsible for supporting a number of entities, delivering a broad range of accounting, reporting and administrative activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within a collaborative and fast-paced finance team.

Key responsibilities:

Purchase and sales ledger management
Supporting day-to-day finance operations
Assisting with month-end reporting and management accounts
Maintaining accurate financial records
Managing supplier and customer transactions
Supporting VAT returns and audit requirements
Assisting with ad hoc finance projects and administrative dutie

About you:

Previous experience within a finance or accounting role
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Good Excel and systems experience
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
AAT qualified, studying, or keen to progress within finance
