Corporate Tax Manager

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Tax Manager to join a leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Yeovil, offering flexible working, a generous company pension, and much more, as part of a firm that is well known for putting its people first. You will take ownership of a varied portfolio of corporate clients, managing both compliance and advisory work, while acting as a trusted point of contact for clients on their tax affairs. The role offers the chance to get involved in interesting and technically challenging work, including restructuring, due diligence, and tax planning projects, alongside opportunities to develop and lead junior members of the team.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients across compliance and advisory work
• Get involved in tax planning, restructuring, and due diligence projects
• Build strong, lasting relationships with clients and act as a trusted adviser
• Support the development and training of junior team members
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and share knowledge across the team

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA/CTA qualified or equivalent, with solid corporate tax experience
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong communication and client relationship management skills
• Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage a varied workload
• Commercially aware, with a genuine interest in helping clients succeed
