Location: Cheshire
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum, DOE
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Working pattern: Office-based preferred, hybrid considered

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Tax Manager or strong Tax Senior to join a well-established and highly regarded professional services business.

You'll manage a varied personal tax portfolio, working closely with clients and taking real ownership of your workload. This is a highly autonomous role within a stable team where staff retention is excellent.

As our Personal Tax Manager you will be responsible for:

• Managing a portfolio of personal tax clients.
• Preparing and reviewing personal tax returns.
• Providing personal tax advice and support to clients.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Attending face-to-face client meetings.
• Managing your own workload, deadlines and client portfolio.
• Dealing with HMRC correspondence and queries.
• Identifying tax planning opportunities where appropriate.
• Working closely with colleagues across the wider tax team.
• Supporting more complex tax matters as required.
• Exposure to trusts and tax restructures would be advantageous but isn't essential.

About you

We're open to candidates who are qualified or qualified by experience. ATT isn't required.

You'll ideally have strong personal tax experience, good technical knowledge and, importantly, enjoy being client-facing and building long-term relationships.
