Payroll Manager Huddersfield £45,000 Hybrid - 1 day from home

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Payroll Supervisor / Manager to join a well-established business in Huddersfield, managing a small and supportive payroll team.

This is a varied role with responsibility for weekly and monthly payrolls, reporting and ensuring full HMRC and legislative compliance. You'll play an important role within the wider Finance function and have the opportunity to make a real contribution to the smooth running of the payroll operation.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage weekly and monthly payrolls
• Lead and support a small payroll team
• Oversee PAYE, NI, pensions and statutory payments
• Complete payroll reporting and reconciliations
• Ensure HMRC and legislative compliance
• Deal with payroll queries and resolve discrepancies
• Support improvements to payroll processes

About you:

• Strong end-to-end payroll experience
• Good knowledge of HMRC and payroll legislation
• Previous team management/supervisory experience
• Highly organised with excellent attention to detail

£45,000 + hybrid working (1 day from home).
