Management Accountant

Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a growing private equity-backed organisation on the Wirral to recruit a Management Accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join a business during an exciting period of growth.

The Role

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you'll support the delivery of accurate financial reporting and provide key insight to support business decision-making. Responsibilities include:

Preparation of monthly management accounts
Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end reporting
Cashflow forecasting and VAT returns
Board and stakeholder reporting
Payroll journals and expense reconciliations
Audit support, budgeting and forecasting activities

About You

CIMA, ACCA or ACA studier, qualified, or qualified by experience
Previous management accounting experience
Strong Excel and systems skills
Proactive, organised and detail-oriented
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
