Assistant Management Accountant

CMA recruitment Group is exclusively supporting our Poole, Dorset client who is seeking a proactive Assistant Management Accountant to join their growing finance team. What will the Assistant Management Accountant role involve?

• Assisting in month-end closing processes, including preparing journals and reconciliations
• Accruals and prepayments
• Contributing to VAT submissions and ensuring data integrity across financial systems
• Managing supplier relationships, resolving invoice discrepancies, and monitoring cash flow
• Supporting in escalated queries across accounts payable and receivable supporting the transactional team
• Participating in finance projects and continuous process improvements to optimise efficiency
• Adhoc reporting for various departments
• Cashflow and forecasting

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Management Accountant vacancy:

• Experience working with a similar position and ideally working towards professional finance qualification, or qualified by experience
• Demonstrates strong attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel, the ability to manipulate data
• Able to manage multiple priorities effectively, meeting deadlines consistently
• Shows excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
