Compliance Officer - Part Time (2 days)

An established insurance brokerage is looking for an experienced Compliance Officer to support the day to day oversight of compliance and help drive continuous improvement and best practice across the business.

Working closely with the company's external compliance consultants, the successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high regulatory standards and ensuring that compliance processes are effectively implemented and monitored.

The role will include carrying out regular file checks, supporting the implementation and ongoing management of Personal Development Plans (PDPs) for advisers and key staff and assisting with the development and improvement of compliance processes and procedures.

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in a compliance oversight role within an insurance brokerage or similar financial services environment.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of FCA rules, regulations and Codes of Conduct.
• Relevant compliance or financial services qualifications.

• Education to A-Level standard or equivalent.
• Good IT skills, with experience using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify and address compliance issues effectively.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams and external compliance advisers.
• A proactive approach to maintaining and improving compliance standards and best practice.
