Trainee Accountant

Location: Uddingston

Salary: 25,000 - 30,000

Hours: Full-time, Office Based

We are looking for a motivated Trainee Accountant to join our growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in accounting, with full training provided across various departments within the business. Its important to know that within this role you will be expected to learn each department within the business as the client feels this will be a great benefit for your future training within the accounts team.

• Purchase and Sales Ledger processing
• Assisting with month-end reporting
• Supporting year-end audit activities
• Stock taking and reconciliations
• Answering phones and general office administration
• Learning all aspects of the business and finance function

• Previous office-based work experience is essential
• Some exposure to finance, accounts, or administration
• HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification preferred
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within finance
• Good communication and organisational skills

• Study support for professional accountancy exams
• Full training and development programme
• Salary of 25,000 - 30,000
• 25 days holiday plus 8 public holidays
• Additional holiday accrued with service (up to 5 extra days)
