The Role

Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a respected client seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join their finance team on a contract basis until January 2027.

This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working with financial data, providing insightful analysis, and supporting key business decisions through accurate reporting and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete month-end financial activities to support the production of monthly financial statements
• Prepare detailed financial analyses and management reports
• Support departmental management with financial reporting and decision-making
• Assist in developing annual budgets and expense forecasts
• Produce staffing forecasts and statistical reports
• Analyse financial performance and identify key trends
• Provide variance analysis and explanations
• Conduct cost analysis and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Ensure financial information is accurate, timely and compliant with internal requirements

What We're Looking For

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Relevant professional finance experience at an intermediate level
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders
• Progress towards a recognised accounting qualification (CPA, CMA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) is advantageous
