The Opportunity

This varied role offers an excellent balance of audit and accounts work providing exposure to a diverse client portfolio across a wide range of industries. You'll work with businesses of varying sizes, all located within a manageable commuting distance, allowing you to build strong, lasting client relationships.

As a key member of the audit team, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering a first-class service while providing valuable insight and guidance to clients that helps support their ongoing success.

Key Responsibilities

• Leading and supporting audit assignments from planning through to completion.
• Preparing statutory accounts and associated tax returns.
• Building trusted relationships with clients and providing practical business advice.
• Supervising, mentoring and developing trainee accountants during audit engagements.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality client solutions.
• Ensuring compliance with UK accounting and auditing regulations.
• Advisor to clients on appropriate matters

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates who are:

• Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA or equivalent) or qualified by experience.
• Experienced in an audit-focused role within accountancy practice.
• Confident working within UK accounting and audit regulations.
• Strong communicators with excellent client-facing skills.
• Passionate about coaching and developing junior team members.
• Organised, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional client service.
