Overview

A thriving accountancy firm is looking for a Bookkeeper to join their team. Known for their supportive culture, this firm offers a full range of accountancy, taxation, payroll and advisory services.

This is a full-time role Monday - Friday with flexibility and hybrid working!

Salary depends on experience/qualification. Higher salaries can be discussed.

Duties

• Managing day-to-day bookkeeping for multiple clients across a range of industries
• Preparing and submitting VAT returns in line with statutory deadlines
• Processing monthly CIS returns accurately and on time
• Assisting with the preparation of annual accounts from both complete and incomplete records
• Liaising directly with clients and HMRC to resolve queries efficiently
• Providing oversight and support for the bookkeeping work carried out by colleagues
• Attending relevant training and development seminars as required
• Carrying out general administrative and office duties

What we're looking for

A successful candidate will have strong bookkeeping experience within UK accounting practice and ideally be fully qualified.
