Audit Senior

An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Audit Senior to join a leading and highly respected firm of Chartered Accountants based in Bury St Edmunds, offering flexible working, a strong company pension, and much more. You will work across a diverse portfolio of clients, taking ownership of audit assignments from planning through to completion, while mentoring junior colleagues and liaising directly with clients on technical matters.

What is the day-to-day of the role:

• Plan, execute, and finalise audit assignments across a varied client portfolio
• Supervise and mentor junior members of the audit team
• Liaise directly with clients on technical audit and accounting matters
• Identify areas for process improvement and add value to client relationships
• Support managers and partners with ad hoc technical and advisory projects

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or finalist)
• Previous experience working within a UK Practice environment
• Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP and/or IFRS
• Excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple audit assignments to deadline
