Campbell Grove Talent are working with a growing business based near Garforth Leeds, who are looking for a Management Accountant to join a small, sharp finance team. You won't be buried in a big corporate structure reporting to a reporting line to a reporting line. You'll be sat next to the Finance Director, working on real numbers, real decisions, and real problems from day one.

What you'll be doing:

This is a broad, hands-on Management Accountant role. No two days will look quite the same, but expect to be:

• Pulling together management accounts for review with the FD
• Helping the business understand what's really driving performance across its sites
• Quarterly cash flow forecasting
• Digging into variances until you know why, not just what
• Reconciliations, posting month-end journals: accruals, prepayments, revenue recognition
• Delivering the monthly close to a proper timetable
• Keeping the ledgers clean, accurate and properly controlled
• Running AP and AR, payment runs one day, chasing a stubborn debtor the next

Who they're looking for

• Part qualified or qualified by experience
• Hands on experience in an SME environment
• Experience producing the monthly management accounts
• Ability to ownership and follow things through, rather than leaving loose sends
• Comfortable working independently, but know when to flag something up
• You're not precious about starting close to the transactions - you know that's how you really learn a business
