We're recruiting for an Accounts Senior to join a well-established practice in Bridgwater. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a varied client portfolio while mentoring junior team members and building strong client relationships.

As an Accounts Senior, you'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering high-quality accounts and tax services while supporting the wider team. This role offers plenty of client interaction and genuine opportunities for progression.

• Managing a portfolio of clients across a range of sectors.
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts.
• Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax compliance.
• Preparing and submitting tax returns and liaising with HMRC where required.
• Providing advice and support to clients on day-to-day accounting matters.
• Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team.
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
• Using cloud accounting software including Xero and QuickBooks.

• ACA or ACCA qualified.
• Minimum three years' post-qualified experience within an accountancy practice.
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounts and tax compliance.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Experience with Xero, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software.
