A well-established and highly regarded accountancy practice in Bridgwater is looking to recruit an Accounts Senior to join its experienced team. This is a hands-on position offering a varied client portfolio, opportunities to support junior colleagues and genuine potential to progress into a management role.

As Accounts Senior, your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts for limited companies

- Producing corporation tax computations and supporting tax planning work

- Preparing management accounts and providing useful commentary for clients

- Reviewing and supporting the development of junior team members

- Working closely with Partners to deliver a high standard of service across a diverse client base

- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and introduce more efficient ways of working

The successful Accounts Senior will:

Ideally be ACA or ACCA qualified, with previous experience gained within an accountancy practice absolutely vital. Whilst post-qualified experience would be advantageous, applications are welcomed from ambitious accountants who have the technical ability and motivation to progress.

You'll have strong accounts preparation skills, a pro-active approach and the confidence to develop effective relationships with both clients and colleagues.
