The Role

Working as part of the tax team, you'll have a varied workload covering both compliance and advisory support. Your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing personal and business tax returns.
• Preparing tax computations and supporting schedules.
• Assisting with self-assessment and corporation tax work.
• Supporting tax planning and advisory assignments.
• Dealing with client queries and requesting relevant information.
• Assisting with HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
• Keeping up to date with UK tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Working closely with the wider accounts and tax teams.
• Managing your workload and ensuring client deadlines are met.

About You

We're looking for an ATT Qualified Tax Assistant with previous experience in a tax environment.

You'll ideally have:

• ATT qualification or recently achieved ATT status.
• Previous tax experience, working within an accountancy practice.
• Knowledge of UK personal and business taxation.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A professional, proactive and client-focused approach.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good IT skills and experience with tax/accounting software.
