Swansea Site Based Up to £30,000 + Study Support

Yolk Recruitment is working exclusively with a professional services business in Swansea to recruit a Finance Assistant to join their finance team.

This is a site-based opportunity suited to someone looking to build on their existing finance experience within a professional and supportive environment. The role will provide exposure across a range of transactional finance duties, with study support available for the right candidate.

The Role

Working as part of the finance team, your responsibilities will include:

• Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records
• Assisting with purchase ledger and sales ledger duties
• Processing payments and supporting bank reconciliations
• Monitoring outstanding balances and assisting with credit control
• Supporting month-end processes
• Assisting with general finance administration
• Responding to finance-related queries from internal and external stakeholders
• Providing wider support to the finance team as required

About You

We're looking for someone with previous experience in a finance or accounts environment who is keen to continue developing their career.

You may be studying towards AAT, ACCA, CIMA or another relevant qualification, or be considering starting a professional qualification with the support of your employer.

You should have:

• Previous experience within a finance or accounts role
• Good attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good Excel and general IT skills
• A willingness to learn and develop
• The ability to work effectively as part of a team
• A professional and reliable approach
