Treasury Analyst Based in London Hybrid Working (1-2 Days On-Site) Temporary Position Immediate Start £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience) We are currently recruiting for a Treasury Analyst to join a leading organisation within the social housing sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a treasury professional to play a key role in managing liquidity, maintaining treasury systems, monitoring risk exposure, and supporting the delivery of an effective treasury function within a large and complex organisation. Working closely with internal finance teams, senior stakeholders, banks, auditors, and external advisors, the successful candidate will help ensure robust cash management, treasury reporting, risk management, and compliance with treasury policies and governance requirements. Treasury Analyst - Duties and Responsibilities: - Manage Group cash and liquidity in accordance with treasury policies and procedures
- Monitor, maintain, and enhance treasury processes, reporting, and treasury management systems
- Support the management and administration of banking platforms and treasury-related third-party systems
- Produce treasury reports and analysis to support effective financial monitoring and decision-making
- Assist in identifying, monitoring, and managing treasury risks, including liquidity and counterparty risk
- Work with internal stakeholders to assess treasury exposures and communicate treasury performance
- Support treasury operations, including bank account management and other treasury administration activities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, auditors, legal advisors, and other external stakeholders
- Provide cover and support across the wider treasury and finance teams when required
- Ensure compliance with treasury policies, governance requirements, and regulatory obligations
Treasury Analyst - Ideal Candidate: - Previous experience working within a treasury function in a housing association is essential
- Studying towards, part-qualified, or fully qualified in the Association of Corporate Treasurers (ACT) qualification
- Strong understanding of cash management, liquidity management, and treasury operations
- Experience using treasury management systems, electronic banking platforms, and Microsoft Excel
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build relationships across finance and operational teams
- Able to work independently whilst managing deadlines within a fast-paced environment
- Treasury experience within social housing would be highly advantageous but not essential
