An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Corporate Tax Senior Manager to join a highly regarded Top 10 firm in Gloucester. This is a senior leadership role offering the chance to manage a diverse portfolio of clients, provide strategic corporate tax advice, and play a key role in developing both the tax team and wider business.

You will oversee complex tax compliance and advisory assignments, build strong client relationships, mentor and develop team members, and contribute to the continued growth of the corporate tax practice.

Your role as a Corporate Tax Senior Manager:

• Lead the delivery of complex corporate tax compliance and advisory projects.
• Act as a trusted adviser to clients, providing strategic tax planning and technical guidance.
• Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate clients across a range of sectors.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a primary point of contact.
• Lead client meetings and provide commercially focused solutions to business challenges.
• Review complex tax work and ensure the highest standards of technical accuracy.
• Collaborate with colleagues across service lines to deliver integrated client solutions.
• Mentor, coach and develop junior team members and managers.
• Support resource planning and workflow management across the team.
• Identify business development opportunities and contribute to winning new work.
• Stay ahead of legislative and regulatory developments, advising clients on potential impacts and opportunities.

What you'll need to succeed:

• ATT, CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent professional qualification, or be qualified by experience.
• Significant experience within an accountancy practice or professional services environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK corporate tax compliance and advisory matters
• Experience managing complex client portfolios and delivering high-quality client service.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and business development capabilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• The ability to balance technical excellence, commerciality and client needs.
