The Finance Business Partner will act as a trusted commercial and strategic adviser to senior leaders across the business, providing high-quality financial insight to support decision-making, improve performance and deliver the organisation's strategic objectives.

Description

  • Act as the primary finance partner to designated business units, functions or senior leadership teams.
  • Build strong, credible relationships with senior stakeholders and become a trusted adviser on financial and commercial matters.
  • Provide clear financial insight and challenge to support strategic and operational decision-making.
  • Translate complex financial information into concise, commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Support business leaders in evaluating strategic initiatives, investment decisions, transformation programmes and growth opportunities.
  • Challenge assumptions, identify risks and ensure financial implications are fully understood before decisions are made.
  • Lead or contribute to the annual budgeting and strategic planning process for relevant areas of the business.
  • Own the financial forecasting process, ensuring forecasts are robust, evidence-based and aligned with operational plans.
  • Analyse actual performance against budget, forecast and prior year, identifying key drivers and corrective actions.
  • Develop meaningful KPIs and performance measures that support management decision-making.
  • Provide regular financial performance reporting and commentary to senior management.
  • Identify emerging trends, risks and opportunities and ensure these are communicated effectively.

Profile

A successful Finance Business Partner should have:

  • Professional accounting qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with financial modelling and reporting tools.
  • The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to identifying and driving financial improvements.

Job Offer

£75,000 - £85,000 + Bonus
