A leading supermarket business is looking to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager to join its commercial finance team.

This is a high-profile role partnering closely with senior commercial and operational stakeholders, providing the financial insight and challenge needed to drive sales, profitability and informed decision-making across the business.

The Role

You will take ownership of commercial analysis and business partnering across a key area of the organisation, with responsibilities including:

• Partnering with senior commercial and operational stakeholders to improve financial performance
• Providing insight into sales, margin, costs and profitability
• Supporting commercial decisions around pricing, promotions and investment
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting
• Identifying risks, opportunities and areas for profit improvement
• Developing robust financial models and scenario analysis
• Translating complex financial information into clear commercial recommendations
• Challenging performance and influencing stakeholders across the business
• Supporting strategic projects and wider commercial initiatives

The Candidate

We are looking for a commercially focused finance professional who can combine strong analytical capability with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You will ideally be:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Experienced within supermarkets, grocery, retail, FMCG or another high-volume consumer business
• Strong in commercial finance, FP&A or business partnering
• Confident working with senior non-finance stakeholders
• Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into actionable commercial insight
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment

Package

Salary: Up to £70,000

Bonus: Attractive annual bonus
