Tax Accountant / Tax Senior, Leatherhead, Surrey with CTA Study Support

£50,000 - £60,000 depending on relevant experience

Fletcher George is recruiting for a Tax Accountant to join a leading multi-site firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers in Leatherhead, Surrey.

The role has a mixed portfolio including High Net Worth Individuals, SME Owners and Corporate Tax work for small and medium-sized privately owned businesses, sole traders and partnerships.

The Tax Accountant Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing and supporting your own portfolio.
• Preparing tax returns for High Net Worth Individuals and other private clients.
• Supporting Corporate Tax work for privately owned companies, sole traders and partnerships.
• Assisting with one-off tax planning and advisory assignments.
• Liaising directly with clients and building strong long-term relationships.
• Providing day-to-day support to the Tax Manager.
• Developing your technical tax knowledge through varied client work

About You

This opportunity would suit an ambitious Tax Accountant or Tax Senior looking to continue developing within a growing and entrepreneurial firm of Chartered Accountants and Tax Advisers.

You will ideally:

• Be ATT qualified, or hold an equivalent accountancy or tax qualification such as ACCA.
• Have at least two years' experience working with Tax clients within an accountancy practice.
• Be confident communicating directly with clients.
• Be keen to continue your professional development towards CTA qualification.
