This role will be a key role in the team overseeing audit engagements and supervising junior members of the team building your management skills and working with a varied client portfolio.

Description

• Manage and oversee audit assignments from planning to completion
• Review audit work to ensure accuracy and compliance with relevant standards
• Preparation & review of statutory accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, offering advice and support where needed
• Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing feedback and guidance
• Coordinate with other departments to deliver a seamless service to clients

Profile

A successful Audit Assistant Manager should have:

• A chartered accountancy qualified; ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
• Practice experience leading on external audits from planning to completion
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
