A leading UK housebuilder is looking to appoint a Regional Finance Director to join its senior regional management team, supporting the Managing Director in driving financial performance, commercial decision-making and long-term business strategy.

This is a senior, commercially focused Finance Director position rather than a traditional financial reporting role. You'll have genuine influence across the regional business, working closely with the MD, Commercial, Production, Sales and Land teams.

Leading the regional finance function and team

Financial oversight of land acquisitions and new developments
Challenging budgets, forecasts, CVRs, costs and cash flow
Identifying commercial opportunities, risks and mitigation strategies
Driving robust financial controls, governance and reporting
Supporting optimisation of the regional landbank and site performance
Providing financial insight to senior regional and divisional leadership

We're looking for:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
Strong post-qualified experience across both commercial/business finance and financial control
Experience leading month-end, forecasting, planning and financial reporting
Strong commercial acumen with the confidence to challenge senior stakeholders
Experience managing and developing a finance team
Ideally, experience within housebuilding, construction, property or another development-led environment

This is an opportunity to join an established regional business in a high-profile leadership position, with significant exposure to strategic decision-making and the wider operation.
