Description

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes.
• Support month-end and year-end financial close activities.
• Reconcile accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Assist in preparing for audits and liaise with auditors as required.
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making across departments.
• Monitor expenditure and ensure alignment with budgets.
• Support the Accounting & Finance team with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

• A background in accounting or finance, ideally within the Not For Profit sector.
• Proficiency in financial software and strong numerical skills.
• An understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
