Hours: Monday Thursday 9:00am 5:00pm Friday 9:00am 2:00pm

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Semi-Senior to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Kidderminster.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accounts professional looking for a temp-to-perm position, working closely alongside and supporting the Group Financial Controller.

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach and be comfortable working across day-to-day transactional finance, whilst also supporting with management accounts and wider financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing the Purchase Ledger function, including processing and matching invoices
• Raising and sending sales invoices
• Supporting with supplier and customer queries
• Assisting with month-end processes
• Supporting with the preparation of management accounts
• Assisting the Group Financial Controller with financial reporting and analysis
• Reconciling accounts and investigating discrepancies
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
• Providing general support across the wider finance function
• Working closely with other departments to ensure financial information is accurate and processed efficiently

About You

We are looking for an experienced Accounts professional who is confident working across a range of finance duties and is looking for a role with the opportunity to develop into a permanent position.

You will ideally have:

• Previous experience within an Accounts Assistant, Accounts Semi-Senior or similar finance role
• Strong Purchase Ledger experience
• Experience raising and sending invoices
• Knowledge of management accounts and month-end processes
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• The ability to work independently whilst also supporting the wider finance team
• Strong communication skills
• A proactive and hands-on approach
