Riverside Recruitment is partnering exclusively with our client to recruit a Management Accountant, based at Lake District Creamery in Aspatria. This is an opportunity to broaden your manufacturing finance experience, work closely with operational teams and make practical improvements that matter. What's in it for you?
You'll combine management accounting for Lake District Biogas, which converts dairy by-products into renewable energy, with stock accounting and controls across the Cheese Business Unit. Your work will include:
What will help you succeed? You'll bring practical management accounting experience, an understanding of manufacturing and stock processes, and confidence explaining numbers to non-finance colleagues. You might be part-qualified in ACCA or CIMA, progressing from AAT, or qualified by experience with a relevant manufacturing finance background. Dairy experience isn't essential. We're interested in your ability to investigate, ask questions and turn your findings into useful recommendations. Working arrangements Monday-Friday, normally 9am-5pm. Alternative start and finish times may be agreed to suit team cover. This is a site-based role, with occasional travel to other locations, including Haverfordwest. Why this company?
