Qualification: AAT Level 2 or above (essential)

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, organised and detail-oriented Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a background in accounts who is looking for a part-time role within a supportive working environment.

The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day accounting and financial administration, ensuring records are accurate, up to date and well maintained.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable.

  • Assisting with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping tasks.

  • Processing invoices and maintaining accurate financial records.

  • Reconciling accounts and checking financial information for accuracy.

  • Using Microsoft Excel to maintain spreadsheets and financial data.

  • Supporting the wider team with general finance and administrative duties.

Skills and Requirements

  • AAT Level 2 qualification or higher is essential.

  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong numerical skills and excellent attention to detail.

  • Good organisational and time-management skills.

  • The ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.

  • A reliable, professional and proactive approach to work.

  • Previous experience in an accounts or finance role
