Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of self-assessment tax clients, taking ownership of client relationships and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Supporting clients with tax compliance requirements, including Making Tax Digital (MTD) for Income Tax, personal tax, and trust tax matters.
• Identifying and advising on potential tax planning opportunities and technical issues, including capital gains tax, residence matters, trusts, property taxation, pension contributions, and loss relief.
• Preparing tax provisions, deferred tax calculations, tax accounting schedules, and supporting audit requirements.
• Building strong relationships with clients and collaborating closely with colleagues across the wider business.
• Travelling to other offices as required to support clients and work alongside the wider tax team.
• Managing work in progress, monitoring debtors, raising fees, and contributing to departmental budgeting and financial performance.
• Providing tax support and responding to technical queries from colleagues across other service lines.
• Playing a key role in the growth and development of the tax function, including supporting and mentoring team members where appropriate
