Credit Control Administrator - Immediate Start

Location: Chepstow (Hybrid Working - 2-3 days in the office)
Salary: 30,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Contract: Initial 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract, with potential to extend or become permanent

Vibe Recruit is currently recruiting for a Credit Control Administrator to join a well-established and growing business based in Chepstow.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Credit Control or Accounts Receivable professional who is available to start immediately and looking for a position with the potential to develop into a longer-term or permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively manage outstanding customer balances and chase payments to ensure timely collection.

• Contact customers to confirm payment dates and resolve outstanding queries.

• Build and maintain positive relationships with customers and internal departments.

• Carry out credit checks on new and existing customers.

• Issue monthly customer statements and invoices.

• Upload invoices to customer portals and maintain accurate records.

• Assist with cash flow forecasting and financial reporting.

• Liaise with Sales and Finance teams to resolve payment issues.

• Escalate overdue accounts where necessary.

About You

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and confidently manage a busy credit control workload.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable or a similar Finance Administration role.

• Excellent communication skills with a confident and professional telephone manner.

• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

• The ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise workloads.

• Good IT skills and experience using accounting or finance systems.

• Experience with Sage X3 would be advantageous but is not essential.

• A proactive approach to resolving customer queries and outstanding payments.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Availability to start immediately or at very short notice.
