Description

The Accounts Payable Manager will;

• Manage the day-to-day accounts payable function, ensuring supplier invoices are processed accurately and promptly.
• Oversee invoice matching, coding and approval workflows to maintain clear and consistent records.
• Monitor payment schedules and help ensure suppliers receive payment in line with agreed terms.
• Review supplier account information and resolve invoice or payment queries efficiently.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable data to support reliable financial reporting.
• Work with colleagues across the Accounting & Finance department to address outstanding invoice issues.
• Identify practical ways to improve accounts payable processes and strengthen day-to-day controls.
• Provide clear updates on accounts payable activity, outstanding items and payment status.

Profile

A successful 'Accounts Payable Manager' should have:

• Strong practical experience managing accounts payable activities.
• Confidence processing invoices, maintaining supplier records and managing payment schedules.
• Good knowledge of invoice matching, coding and approval processes.
• The ability to investigate and resolve supplier invoice and payment queries.
• Strong attention to detail when reviewing financial information and account records.
• A clear and organised approach to managing priorities within an Accounts Payable Manager role.

Job Offer

• Permanent Accounts Payable Manager position.
• Salary of 50,000 to 55,000, dependent on the level of experience.
• Hybrid working arrangement.
