An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised Accounts Administrator to join our client who are located in the picturesque town of Bakewell. Our client are a specialist in manufacturing, sourcing and supplying high-quality product and has earned them a reputation for excellence both domestically and internationally.

As the Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the finance department, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and contributing to the smooth operation of the business.

The Role & Responsibilities of the Accounts Administrator

• Maintain sales and purchase ledgers
• Assist with credit control
• Prepare, file, and reconcile both manual and electronic invoices
• Provide support for administrative and HR tasks
• Daily maintenance of sales ledger, purchase ledger, cash book, and nominal ledger
• Offer ad hoc support as required
• Negotiating with debtors and creditors
• Manage own workload and meet deadlines effectively

What We're Looking for

You will have:

• Previous Finance/Accounts Administration experience
• Experience on both sales and purchase ledger
• Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Driving license required
